Current Job Openings

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and facilitate activities and learning experiences that align with the Cayman Islands Early Years Curriculum Framework.
  • Monitor and evaluate teaching, learning, and assessment, including learning walks and lesson observations.
  • Engage in play-based learning, helping children develop language, motor, and social skills.
  • Attend to children's daily needs, including changing, dressing, and feeding when necessary.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress and discuss it with parents and other staff as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and training.
  • Ensure the learning needs of all children are planned and documented appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor's Degree, or Associate Degree.
  • Ability to secure a Certificate of Licence to Teach in the Cayman Islands.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching preschool-aged children.
  • Knowledge of child development stages and early childhood best practices.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience working with children aged 0-5 years in a classroom environment.

Skills

  • Warm and welcoming personality to create a supportive environment for children and parents.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with young children, families, and colleagues.
  • Patient, caring, and attentive to the needs of children.
  • Creative and energetic, with a passion for early childhood education.
  • Physically able to lift children, bend, squat, and engage in floor activities.

  • Reference/Experience Letter from the previous company.
